Hello everyone, I'm back from my skiing trip to norway, and I'm telling you, It's not gonna be the last of them!
Awesome times were had, difinately. I'm not very good at skiing, but I'm getting better. I'm thinking about trying out snowboarding next time. Anyway, I'm back, and I'll get back to updating my blog as I usually do.
Board swag up!
So since Summer is right around the cornor, I've been browsing some skatershops, and I've come up with, what I think, is a pretty nice setup.
First up, is the trusty Element board. This time, the "Cascade" model. Has some nice rasta colours, and I like the size.
Second up we have a nice pair of trucks, this time by "Thunder".
I allready have some rather new "Bones Reds" bearings, so I (hopefully) won't be changing those this summer.
Last up is a nice pair of wheels, again in the rasta colours, made by Element
I just wanted to tell you I'm currently on vacation, and will be coming with new blog posts this next monday/tuesday. I'm currently halfway down a mountain on skies in Norway, litteraly. Gotta love iphones. Anyway, hang in there. I'll finish this doobie and roll on, take care.
oh and just to give you something, I'll leave you this till next week.
The rooster teeth podcast (formerly known as the "drunk tank") is another one of my favorite podcasts. It's basically the rooster teeth guys, who group up and talk into microphones for an hour and a half. It's mostly about random stories, that usually starts with "So me and X was hammered one night", but also with a hint of gaming. They mainly got famous for their Halo series "Red vs. Blue" which, if you haven't seen yet, I'd seriously recommend. They have a big Youth channel, with lot's and lot's of gaming videos, for example their "horse" series, which is where they play custom maps in halo reach, and who ever finishes the map last, get's a letter. You know, like skate. I usually listen to the podcasts once during the day, and then at night when I'm trying to fall asleep. That way I don't think too much about the stories, but I can just kind of "zone out".
After making the post about my tinnitus, I though, "let's make the best of a bad situation."
I've been listening to a lot of podcast, that I probably wouldn't have listened to if I didn't have tinnitus.
I'll list some of my favorites, so you can check them out if you want. (more will be coming in later posts)
The yogpod is probably my all time favorite podcast. The podcast started as sort of a "spin off" from their successful youtube channel, where they would just put all the stuff they couldn't fit into the videos into a podcast.
It's these two guys, Simon, a huggable, lovable goofball of a grown ass man, who really loves jaffa cakes. And Lewis, the slightly thinner, nerdy and serious guy, who makes sure vetting is on track.
Together they make an awesome explosion of love and laughter.
The podcast is mostly about random stories, either from them or from the yognaughts, and gaming. Their youtube channel is mostly focused on gaming. They started out doing World of Warcraft videos, explaining various boss tactics, and stuff like that, but later became famous for their minecraft videos.
If you are interested in gaming, comedy and a good laugh, I'd suggest you check them out.
It's time for some new wallpapers, and as requested I've found some gaming wallpapers. They're pretty awesome too, if I have to say so myself. We've got some LoL and Starcraft. 2 awesome games. Leave a comment if you would like to take a game with me sometime, could be fun.
As always, if you have suggestions to themes, resolutions or anything else, please tell me in the comments!
I just finished watching Breaking bad season 4, and let me just say, wow.
What is it about? Breaking Bad is an American television drama series created and produced by Vince Gilligan. Set and produced in Albuquerque, New Mexico,Breaking Bad is the story of Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a struggling high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with advanced lung cancer at the beginning of the series. He turns to a life of crime, producing and selling methamphetamine with a former student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), with the aim of securing his family's financial future before he dies -Wikipedia
Not only is Breaking bad one of the most unpredictable series I've seen in a long time, but also one of the most epic series i've seen. Honestly, I'd gi've it 4.5 out of 5. I have two reasons for not giving it 5/5
1. I found myself getting a bit annoyed at walt in the start, because of the way he was acting, not telling his family etc.
2. the scene where Gauss died was dissapointing. Don't get me wrong, it was awesome, but the whole him standing up and adjusting his tie was just.. too fake? I don't know, but it bothered me. I mean with all the buildup for the ending, I would've loved to have seen a bit more of a realistic death of Gauss.
But overall it was fucking epic. And You build up a really nice relationship with the characters, wich in my opinion is really important when watching a series/movie like that.
I'd love to see another season, but honestly I wouldn't be too sad if there wasn't a new one. I think it was an epic ending to an epic series. Difinately a recomend.
what do you think?
