Insomnia

Do you know what grinds my gears?
Not being able to sleep.
I mean really, fuck that! It does not make eny sense what so ever.
I can litterely be seconds away from falling a sleep in class, and when the day is over,
and i can go to bed, I'm fresh as a fucking seagul! I'm mean really!
This is ofcourse coming from a raging insomniac. Been having insomnia since i was about 12,
wich is not that uncommon. Most teenagers get some sort of insomnia. But this is rather extreme,
and it's sticking with me. For example, last night, was laying in my bed. Extremely
tired and exhausted after a long day of work, couldn't sleep. The last time i remember
looking at the clock it was 4:30. At that point you just know that your day tomorrow is gonna
be shit. and it was. It seems like the only thing i want to  to during the day is crawl
in my bed and shut off the rest of the world.

Does anyone have info or tips on insomnia? anything could be useful pretty much.

Oh and btw, i excuse for the spelling mistakes, I'll fix them tomorrow, when I've gotten a hopefully nice night of sleep :3.

  2. Try to wake up early in the morning, and then try not to sleep at all during the day. You'll be exhausted around 10pm.

And avoid staring at screens past 11pm, it keeps you awake. Read a book, or solve a crossword instead.

  3. I drink and smoke to put myself to sleep. Maybe not the best practice but its better than pills i guess.

  8. Exercise and meditation are like magic for your sleep. Just workout for 15-20 minutes a day. Meditate starting at 10-15. You'll want to increase these times after you get into it and realize how much better you feel. And you'll sleep like a baby. After practising meditation for a while you'll get to the point where you can just turn your brain off and go to sleep within 10 minutes.

  10. Hey man it is 6am, and I've been up for 22 hours, surfing the web, no joke on that. Actually been working on my blog, but have a lot more to do. I don't know if I'm working because I can't sleep, or if I can't sleep because I'm working. So hard to say.

  12. Exercise during the day, and eat your meals at the time you're socially supposed to. It works wonders for resetting your body's metabolism.

  13. Melatonin might help you out. Just some natural pills.

  16. Get a night job. Something like a security gaurd or something. That way when you feel tired during the day, you sleep, and at night you go to work.

  17. I'll recommend you turning off all senses you can. Try putting something on your eyes, pluging your ears with soundstoppers etc. Works for me like a charm
